I’m a graphic designer, currently working out of Renton, WA. I moved to Seattle from El Paso, TX back in 2008. After graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Metalsmithing, I decided to test myself and make a big change.
I am constantly interested in freelance work. The variations in clients force my ideas to keep fresh to accommodate each unique request. My minor in Metalsmithing is responsible for the industrial, architectural and engineering elements that I incorporate into my design process.
On my various design endeavors, I’ve gained knowledge about production with publications, promotional materials, signage, and artist collaborations. My current job has offered me the great opportunity to grow from a Junior to a Senior Design position in charge of designing new web experiences, providing direction on many projects and style guides, as well as creating and advising on UX.
My short-term professional and artistic ambitions include solidifying a couple of new ideas for art jewelry projects, continuing to learn more about typography design, bookbinding and printmaking, as well as creating more personal work.
